Welcome to Carolina Fresh Farms at Lyman (directions). We have been in Lyman since November 1994, and have seen a lot of growth in our store and community. We would like to take this opportunity to invite you out to our store. We have a knowledgeable and friends staff that is eager to answer your questions.
We started off in 1994 selling a few pallets of sod, a few trailers, and cracking and shelling thousands of pounds of pecans. As the demand for sod and trailers grew we had to get rid of the pecan machines. We started out with about 2 acres and a produce stand that we converted into an office.
In 2005 we introduced a line of fertilizer and chemicals to our product line because we felt that we needed to be able to sell a quality product to take care of the investment you have put into your yard. We now have over 5 acres, and as of October 2007, we have a new 30x60' centrally air conditioned office. We built a new 30x40' barn for the wheat straw and coastal bermuda hay. We also put up a 20x21' shed next to the office for overflow of fertilizer. We have really seen a lot of growth over the past few years and have adjusted accordingly. We have a nice product showroom for you to come and look at the products and ask questions. We have about $300,000 in trailer inventory on site and try to keep a variety of sizes and colors. We have enclosed, utility, car haulers, dump and equipment trailers. We have anything from a 4x6' to an 8.5x50' trailer.

Carolina Fresh Farms has been growing sod for 20 years with quality and service as our primary focus. Our turf is grown in Neeses, S.C., and sold through the Carolinas and Georgia. Soil fertility and water samples are tested at Brookside Laboratories, Inc. and used by our agronomist to create specific fertilizer programs for over 50 sod fields.
